Yes, although it can have other applications. Our ULTRAISER P1, P1 Pro and eHM15 clinic device have been designed for use on the face for the purpose of lifting and tightening facial skin. Unlike surgical facelift procedures, HIFU is a non-invasive treatment that requires no recovery period.

Collagen makes up about 75% of your skin and is the most abundant natural protein in your body. Collagen keeps skin firmed, toned and elastic, however, as we age, it can lose some of its elasticity. This is where treatments such as HIFU come in – they stimulate the generation of more collagen in the skin.

No, it doesn’t. Which is one of the reasons we were able to develop the ULTRAISER products for home use outside of clinics. HIFU has been called the ‘Lunchtime Facelift’ because of its relatively quick application (approx. 20 - 30 minutes) and zero downtime afterwards. Now you can use anytime you want at home.

The device is lightweight and compact and is about the same size as an electric razor. It weighs only 260g and easily fits into a handbag or pouch bag. Apart from the power supply which is plugged in to charge the device, the unit is completely self-contained for easy storage

Results in terms of skin lifting and tightening results are typically expected after 2-3 treatments although in some cases, results are seen after the first treatment.

For best results, it is advisable to use the ULTRAISER P1 device every one or two weeks.

P1 is a home-use device with less output power for safety but with the same principle as clinical devices. We fine-tuned and optimised the output power for home-use purposes, i.e., full effect as well as safety. With P1, you can care for your skin more often than clinic devices.

There may be a warming sensation of the skin while the device is in use and some parts of the face may feel more painful than others although this should be tolerable. If you experience severe pain you should stop immediately and refer back to the instructions.

There are two types of cartridge and we provide the 2mm cartridge (and gel) as standard with our ULRAISER P1 device. The 2mm cartridge can be used on most areas of the face. The 4mm cartridge included in ULTRAISER P1 Pro provides deeper penetration so should only be used on the cheeks, nasolabial folds and under the chin.

We recommend using the ULTRAISER Gel but you can use other cosmetic ultrasound gels if our gel is not immediately available.

Ultraiser P1 is designed primarily for facial treatments, but yes with 4mm cartridge, we've witnessed tightening effects on body areas. We also have some delightful testimonials from customers regarding tightening effects on body areas such as the abdomen, arms and thighs.

(Note that older people with more extensive photo-ageing, severe skin laxity, or very saggy skin on the neck need more treatments before seeing results and may not see the same results as others). All in all, yes it will help to tighten your skin.

Our device Ultraiser P1 uses the same frequency and focal depth as clinical HIFU so that the focused ultrasound can stimulate targeted layers such as SMAS. Clinical HIFU emits very high energy (around 2 Joules) so although it has no downtime, you may feel some pain and have a bit swollen face after treatments for some time. You cannot receive next treatments as soon because you have to wait until the treated layer of skin gets fully recovered. Our Ultraiser P1 was developed for personal home use with optimised output power so that you can use it on a weekly basis. It causes little pain but still gives out enough energy to the targeted layers for stimulation for collagen generation.
